New Bonus Question

Good job to the TWO students who answered last week's question about the chimney. The answer was 30 bricks.

Here is this week's question:

If two earthquakes are a point apart on the Richter scale, then the one with the higher reading is ten times as powerful as the other. Suppose that two earthquakes differ by half a point. How much more powerful is the one with the higher reading?

The answer to this question is due by the end of the school day Friday, April 20 and must be emailed to me. Note the new email address kim.beaumont@omeresa.net. Good luck!
